MORGAN OWEN, CFP®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager
Morgan, Marisa, and Oliver had a very exciting summer and 3rd quarter. On July 4, they welcomed Theodore David Owen into the world. Theo came out with a full head of hair and a big smile on his face, and they couldn’t love him more. Oliver has especially enjoyed having a little brother and is always helpful making sure the baby has a bottle or a binky when he starts crying. Morgan spent the last two months of summer at home adjusting to life as a dad of two boys. It was so nice to be able to spend this time as a family. The Owens also had a few adventures this summer and spent Labor Day weekend on Flathead Lake with a group of friends enjoying the last bits of summer. They are now excited for fall and all the new activities. Oliver has started playing hockey and is looking forward to ski season and trying to keep up with his dad.
ANNE ASHTON, CFP®, CWS®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager
Anne and her family had a wonderful summer and start to fall. The Ashton children spent most of their summer in a variety of camps. The favorites were science camp, Riverside camp, and horseback riding camp. They have all started school at Hawthorne Elementary in fifth, third, and kindergarten. Before school started, Anne was able to take her youngest daughter, Claire, and mother on a long weekend to New York City where they stayed with family, wandered around the American Girl store, enjoyed The Lion King on Broadway, and took in the city. Cole and Anne were also lucky enough to attend a high school friend’s wedding on the beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juans. It was a wonderful weekend full of good friends, beautiful hikes, and magical scenery. Most recently, the entire Ashton family stayed up late to watch the Northern Lights right in their backyard. We live in such a wonderful place.
BRENDA KITTO, CFP®, CWS®
Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Assistant Branch Manager
The last three months were full for Brenda, starting off with her 50th birthday. A few of her friends and family attended an Italian themed birthday party, followed by a Montana beach vacation at Hebgen Lake. She’s been told that the 50s are the best years, and she is fully embracing it. In early August, her youngest granddaughter turned three, and is getting so grown up. And, speaking of grown up, Brenda’s youngest daughters are both now in high school: Kate is a freshman and Jenna is a junior. Jenna plays on the JV volleyball team, and Kate is the manager. The fact that they are at the same school and involved in the same sport makes shuttling quite a bit easier. Along with the busyness of school, comes games, dinners, and dances, which keep the family constantly on the move. In mid-September, Brenda and her husband Jeff were able to sneak away to Arizona for their first ever NFL game, the Cardinals vs. the LA Rams. Unfortunately, the Rams came out on bottom; however, the experience was wonderful.
CARRIE MCALEER, FPQPTM, CWS®
Senior Registered Practice Coordinator
Summer flew by as the McAleer family did their best to take advantage of as much sunshine as possible. Brody and Finley are becoming fast friends and enjoyed countless afternoons at the park, playing at Nana and Papa’s, and “golfing” at Bridger Creek. A neighborhood block party to celebrate the Fourth of July, complete with fireworks, friends, and sweets, was a highlight for the kiddos who could not get enough of the sparklers and colorful fountains. In August, the family and the entire team enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at the Owen Lake House in Ennis. Water, sunshine, food, and lots of friends ensured Brody and Finley were completely worn out at the conclusion of each fun-filled day. At the end of August, Brody turned four and celebrated with a backyard slip-n-slide party with friends and family. Despite a wonderful summer, the McAleer’s are enjoying the beginning of autumn and are looking forward to all the fun activities this new season holds.
ALLEGRA MOHR
Client Associate
Allegra has had an action-packed summer with lots of travel and quality time with friends and family. She kicked it off with a Fourth of July weekend spent on the lake in Coeur d’Alene, ID. It was an amazing time with Allegra’s parents, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Lots of kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing made for a perfect Fourth of July. Allegra also traveled to Missoula for a concert and amazing light show with her parents and sister. The last trip of the season was back home to Nashville for Allegra’s grandma’s 98th birthday party. She really enjoyed the visit and a brief taste of home. Along with the travel and excitement Allegra has been studying. She recently passed all her licensing exams and is now a Registered Client Associate. Her team could not be prouder. The past few months for Allegra were very busy, and she is looking forward to a calm and cozy fall season.
